Our colleague networks help create an inclusive and supportive workplace. Our Within network promotes cultural diversity. Pride in Food supports LGBTQ+ individuality and inclusion. Women in Food provides a platform for women to connect, grow and lead. Ability champions development opportunities for people with learning disabilities. Partnering for social impact

We are proud to work with partners who share our vision of a fairer and more sustainable world.

Supporting small and social enterprises
Through Foodbuy, our procurement division, we collaborate with over 600 small and medium-sized enterprises that supply more than 1,200 items to our UK business. Foodbuy was the first in the food and drink sector to join the Buy Social Corporate Challenge, committing to spend £1 billion with social enterprises.

Creating opportunities together
We work with partners such as the DWP, Springboard, The Clink, and the Care Leaver Covenant to provide employment pathways for people from hard-to-reach groups. We are also launching a volunteering scheme that gives every colleague a paid day off each year to support local community initiatives.

Making a difference

Making a global difference
Through charitable partnerships, we are helping communities across the world gain access to clean water and supporting initiatives that help the homeless build new futures, including training as baristas and hospitality professionals.

Dementia Friends Programme
We are proud to support the Dementia Friends initiative, transforming the way people think, act and talk about dementia. To date, 2,530 of our healthcare colleagues have completed the training

Making a difference in the community
Our people have raised over £151,555 for the Alzheimer’s Society, helping to fund groundbreaking research into dysphagia and dementia care.
